Valley Dermatology opened its doors in November 2001 and has continued to grow ever since.
Valley Dermatology is a well-established practice that has provided general and surgical dermatology care to the citizens of the Yakima Valley for over 20 years. When you or a loved one are in need of dermatology care, you can always count on Valley Dermatology.

Dr. Ecklund and his team of highly trained Physician Assistants are committed to the complete care of all your Dermatology needs. Dr. Ecklund, a proud graduate of Oregon Health and Science University and Veteran Flight Surgeon for the Navy, has made his home in Yakima for nearly 20 years. Being an avid hunter and outdoors-men, Yakima has been a perfect fit for his family.
Our Clinic
Valley Dermatology Associates opened its doors in November 2001 and has continued to grow ever since. Our first location was bursting at the seams, so in May 2015 we moved into our new expanded and spacious facility.
Understanding Your Treatment
Valley Dermatology uses several advanced therapies for effective treatment and improved patient care. In addition to treating purely dermatologic issues like acne or scars, our physicians can alleviate skin problems associated skin cancer, allergies, and infectious diseases. We will communicate closely with your primary-care physician to provide you with an integrated treatment plan.

MOHS and Skin Cancer Treatment
Dr. Ecklund has nearly 25 years of combined experience doing MOHS Micrographic Surgery and well over 10,000 surgical cases. Dr. Ecklund, a fellow of the American Society of MOHS Surgery is also an experienced board-certified by the American Academy of Dermatology.
